• ER1 Emergency Response Helmet with adjustable head band and retractable goggle
• Can be fitted with ear defenders and configured for additional specialist operations

• The helmet and goggle is intended to provide protection to the head and eyes from the hazards experienced during emergency and rescue duties.
• It consists of a close flitting helmet with internal goggle which is suitable for non-structural fire fighting operations such as road traffic accidents, bush fire, water and height rescue, civil defence and confined space inspections.
• The addition of the optional outer shell with full face shield provides full fire fighting protection, this combined dual helmet system is designated Cromwell FR2

We offer a budget range of Hi-vis yellow polyester, imported clothing EN471; class 2 waistcoats and class 3 jackets, available in sizes M, L, XL, 2XL. We also stock all other PPE needs such as, Chemical suits, Wellington boots, gloves, masks, goggles and ear defenders which meet the appropriate standards.

PPE – Personal Protective Equipment at Work – Regulations 1992

PPE is defined in the Regulations as:

‘all equipment (including clothing affording protection against the weather) which is intended to be worn or held by a person at work and which protects him against one or more risks to his health or safety‘

e.g. safety helmets (BS EN 397), gloves (BS EN 388), eye protection (BS EN 166), high-visibility clothing (BS EN 471), hearing protectors (BS EN 352-1), safety footwear (BS EN 345-1 & 2)
